Gary S. Scher, D.D.S.

For more than thirty years, Dr. Scher has been a trusted provider in the Monmouth County community. After spending two years with the United States Public Health Service caring for Native American communities, he returned home to focus on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry.

Dr. Scher is respected for his clinical experience, thoughtful communication, and the long-term relationships he has built with patients. He has been recognized by his peers as one of New Jersey’s best dentists and remains actively involved in professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Dental Implant Institute.

Monmouth County has always been home for Dr. Scher and his wife, Susan, where they raised their two daughters, Jennifer and Emily. He remains deeply connected to the community he serves and continues to play a meaningful role in caring for long-time patients while mentoring the next generation of providers at Smile Theory.
